Julia Cameron

JULIA CAMERON has been an active artist for over four decades. She is the author of more than forty books, including such bestselling works on the creative process as The Artist’s Way, Walking in This World and Finding Water. Also a novelist, playwright, songwriter and poet, she has multiple credits in theater, film and television. 2017 marked the 25th anniversary of The Artist’s Way, with over five million copies sold.

Dr Eric Maisel

Dr. Eric Maisel is the author of more than 50 books. His interests include creativity, the creative life, and the profession of creativity coaching, which he founded; issues of life purpose and meaning; mental health and critical psychology (also known as critical psychiatry and anti-psychiatry); and parenting in a “mental disorder” age.

Flora Bowley

Flora Bowley is a painter, creative pioneer, gentle guide and author of two top-selling books, Brave Intuitive Painting and Creative Revolution.

Lucia Capacchione, PhD

Lucia Capacchione, PhD, ATR is an artist, art therapist and best-selling author of 22 books on Creative Journaling with drawing and writing. Her books include The Creative Journal, Recovery of Your Inner Child, The Power of Your Other Hand, and Visioning: Ten Steps to Designing the Life of Your Dreams. Her pioneering work in journal therapy began over 40 years ago, and she is recognized internationally for discovering the healing power of drawing and writing with the non-dominant hand. Her workbooks are used worldwide in public schools, counselling centers, cancer support groups, programs for Vets, recovery from addictions and trauma, and career coaching. She is director of Creative Journal Expressive Arts International Certification Training for Professionals.

The Creative Journal—Drawing and Writing Using Both Hands: During this 2-hour breakout session, you will learn a proven, research-based approach to letting the real you out and channelling your private inner world into tangible form. Jacob Nordby

Jacob Nordby co-created this event and is the author of The Divine Arsonist: A Tale of Awakening, and Blessed Are the Weird – A Manifesto for Creatives. He leads the Creative UnBootcamp course for students around the world, and offers transformational group retreats and individual creative guidance sessions. His personal exploration has led him to wisdom traditions that include Toltec shamanism, Taoist teachings, Jungian psychology, cognitive behavioral therapy, and more. The Power of Creative Alignment—this 2-hour workshop is a process of creative discovery that goes upstream of the product, such as your book, music, art, or other creation. Amy Maricle

Amy Maricle is an artist, board certified art therapist, and founder of Mindful Art Studio, an online art studio that works to empower the artist in all of us. As a teacher and coach, Amy brings a gentle, “anyone can do it” approach. Artists of all experience levels embrace the creative process with playfulness and curiosity, to make meaningful, intuitive art in Amy’s classes. Daring to Create: The Intuitive Artist. During this 2-hour breakout session, Amy will lead you through exercises to unearth creative seeds, and guide you in nurturing and harvesting your creativity every day. You’ll explore the myths and artistic blocks that keep you from making art, and identify ways to make space for art in your life—focusing on process over product, mindful attention, and the intuitive voice. You’ll learn to gently ask your inner critic to step aside so you can create. When you dare to create intuitively, you’ll begin seeing and behaving like an artist – with curiosity, with energy – gathering the beauty and inspiration all around you, and weaving more art into your life in small and large ways.

Nick Demos

Nick Demos is a Tony Award winning producer, award winning filmmaker, and writer. His work is infused with spirituality and humor. He has taught yoga, breath work, meditation and creativity for over a decade. His current projects include documentaries on body image in the LGBTQ community and the chronic pain syndrome, Fibromyalgia; a book about living in creative flow; and a musical adaptation of the classic spiritual novel, Siddhartha. He has been awarded the “Living Treasure Award” in the state of Oklahoma for his contribution to the arts, and is the executive director of One Company, a non-profit organization dedicated to the wellness and wholeness of artists.

The Creative Breath and Flow: in this highly unique 2-hour experience, Nick brings his many years of experience as a yoga instructor, breathwork teacher, and music together. You will learn how to enter your body and feel into flow in new ways as you move, breathe, and gain access to higher states of creative consciousness.

Elizabeth Watt

Elizabeth Watt has had the good fortune of being a professional photographer the whole of her adult life. From her NYC based studio she shot food, still life and beauty for a wide range of companies across all industries—editorial, advertising, corporate and fine art, garnering many top awards. Elizabeth enjoys teaching photography and creativity, most notably as an adjunct professor at The Newhouse School at Syracuse University, as well as running creativity seminars at various workshop and corporate settings around the country. Since completing executive coaching certification through New York University School of Leadership and Human Capital Management, she also helps people leverage the creative mindset in the service of positive change. The Good Eye: Photography as a Pathway to Presence—Use your smartphone to tune in rather than tune out! In this workshop we learn how to use our smartphones as a tool to heighten the quality of our day-to-day existence. Rather than a source of perpetual distraction, our smartphone cameras can be used in our mindfulness practice. We learn how to refresh our vision by breaking through ‘habituated’ seeing. We’ll learn how to develop a ‘Good Eye’. Through visual presentation, tips, exercises, suggested readings and assignments to take home, not only will you feel more awake and alive, more creative and intuitive; you’ll also see an immediate transformation in the quality of your image making.

Marcy Ferro

Marcy Ferro is a full-time artist, born and raised in Los Angeles. Marcy began drawing at a very young age and painting with oil paints around the age of six. She took every art class available at school including sculpting, drawing, painting, dance, acting, and many others in the field of the arts. Around 2007, Marcy began practicing with acrylic paints and became enthralled with mixed media. She began creating custom portraits and mixed media paintings for friends and family, and her career as an artist began to grow. Marcy is now the owner of a successful and growing YouTube channel, Mixed Media Girl, where she teaches over 209,000 subscribers acrylic pouring and other art techniques with video tutorials. She also teaches others how to make a business with their art through her YouTube channel, The Business of Art, and is the author of Mixed Media Girl’s Tips for YouTube Success.

The Business of Art—In this 2-hour workshop, you will learn the key ingredients to channeling your creativity into a successful art business. You will learn marketing strategies, how to manage personal life with your art business without losing creativity, and successful actions to getting your art seen in the world and producing an income as an artist. There will be business exercises throughout and a Q&A session at the end of the workshop. No prerequisites.

HeatherAsh Amara

HeatherAsh Amara is the author of the bestselling Warrior Goddess Training, TheWarrior Goddess Way, and The Toltec Path of Transformation. FIREWALK: During the opening night session, HeatherAsh will lead a short instructional workshop on the creative spirit and how to break through blocks. Then she will prepare you to participate in the extraordinary firewalk experience! (*You are not required to walk on fire as even witnessing others doing this is a powerful demonstration. You are encouraged to listen to your heart and only walk if you get an inner “yes!”) When you join hundreds of others around a bed of hot coals and experience the liberation of doing what your mind believes is impossible, you will never be quite the same again.


Dr Marie Mbouni

Marie Mbouni is a healing artist, creativity coach, as well as a practicing MD. Born and raised in Cameroon, Africa, her mission is to help others tap into their own creative power and to experience healing in all aspects of life. Meet her at

The Conscious Creativity Method ™− a workshop to awaken your inner muse. In this experiential workshop, Dr. Marie Mbouni will lead you through a process designed to activate your inner muse at the soul level. Through a combination of meditation, sacred movement, and painting, participants will learn how to free any creative blocks they are currently experiencing, and go deeply into the power of creative intention, or what she calls Sankalpa, which is based on the Sanskrit word for the combination of heart and mind. With Dr. Mbouni’s guidance, everyone will create a personal Yantra (a visual Mantra) to take home, and leave the workshop with a new sense of creative purpose.
