SARK (Susan Ariel Rainbow Kennedy) began by creating her iconic How To Be An Artist poster in her Magic Cottage in San Francisco, and has now operated her highly successful creative business for almost 30 years.
She is the best selling author and artist of eighteen books, including Succulent Wild Woman, Eat Mangoes Naked, and Make Your Creative Dreams REAL(and writing her most succulent now) which have sold millions of copies. Her art, programs, products and services continue to be in high demand around the world. She is an acclaimed teacher and mentor, and her wisdom has touched and transformed the lives of millions.
SARK has been a procrastinator, perfectionist, avoider, resister, quitter, and just plain BIG SLEEPER with her creative dreams. She was so scared to share her dreams with the world, and had endless reasons why she couldn’t, including being “too busy.”
She lives in the “marvelous messy middle” with all the feelings in her emotional family and teaches others how to live more of their REAL dream life in the midst of their actual lives.
Dr. Maya Angelou wrote about SARK stating "We, in this world, and this weary old world itself, have a great gaping need for SARK. Let's call for more and more SARK to fill every child's book bag and each attaché case."
SARK’s purpose is to be a transformer, uplifter and laser beam of love, and she offers that through her art, words and spirit. She’s known for her playful and whimsical spirit, and her unique way of teaching and inspiring. SARK continues to work with top companies to help turn creativity into profits, inspiring business growth and personal transformation. She also mentors individuals to share their unique gifts with the world, as she is mightily inspired by people making their creative dreams REAL.

Facing the 3 Enemies of Creativity
Each of us is born a vital, creative being. No one is left out! Somewhere along the way, we traded our natural creativity for logic, predictability, correctness, and responsibility. Our educational system, built at the dawn of the industrial revolution and largely unchanged today, churns out workers fit for factories, stamping out creativity on purpose. Perhaps someone told you “you’re not that creative” or “your art is no good,” and you believed them. You may also have experienced something traumatic, which understandably shut down your creative self, as you had to prioritize survival over imagination.
In this highly-interactive workshop, bestselling author of The Creative Cure, Jacob Nordby will lead you in an immersive experience that will help you understand the enemies of your creative self and how you can heal the connection to who you really are. Expect to leave this workshop with simple, practical tools you can use to develop a transformational creative practice that can last the rest of your life!
*No prerequisite. Worksheets provided. Please bring a notebook and pen.

Releasing Fear, Embracing Freedom
Join me as I share how I clear the path to the possible, allowing us to create with joy and freedom. By liberating our spirits from fear of judgment and expectations we allow ourselves to create with the childlike curiosity and enthusiasm. Free from the prescribed limits and rules we have been bound by, we will reunite with imagination. Healing, joy and peace can be found through expressing ourselves using marks, colors and shapes. I will guide and demonstrate this process during our virtual time together. I look forward to our time together.
* A supplies list will be provided – and if you are attending other painting sessions, will likely use many of the same items!

Straight from The Heart: A Writing Workshop. In this 2-hour writing exploration, author and poet Q. Gibson will take you through a guided journey to reveal the wisdom of your inner self. Starting by just putting down one or two words, she shows you how to build on these words to reveal the message your heart wants you to hear. Q. will then teach you how to creatively develop this message into something even larger: a poem, a letter to yourself or someone else, or even a short story, all straight from your heart. This is the same process Q. does for herself and her community. All you need is a pen and paper, and a willingness to write your truth. Your heart journey awaits!
